back, with a bump

hello old friends!

It has been approximately (and embarrassingly) almost four months. This spring I’ve had the incredible blessing of growing our second baby, and boy it’s been a doozy. First trimester was filled with a lot of vomiting, coca cola + burgers, naps, and laying on the couch. I’m almost 19 weeks now and can’t believe we’re nearly halfway to meeting him. I feel like I’ve come out of the woodworks and into the second trimester energy…with only one vomissement to record over the past three weeks. A record in this baby’s book!

Anyways, I ask you to forgive my very long absence and think it best we pick up right where we left off. Objectively if you look at what I’ve accomplished over the last few months, it looks like a lot. But there were a lot of days spent horizontal in survival mode, watching my very busy 18 month old run around me, and yes, watch if you give a mouse a cookie on amazon.

• a family getaway to lily of the valley near st tropez

• picnics in the park with pain au chocolat and our favorite doggie friend

• e-biking everywhere with Charlotte in tow

• la rosée lait solaire 50 spf- baby safe and smells like apricot…sent some home for my sister’s littles too

• barbotine -a new word I learned from a favorite thrifter, describing a type of ceramics but often the vintage french ones made in shapes of various fruits/vegetables ie. cabbageware, asparagus etc.

• this baby book is a favorite of ours

• kd weave towel- my mom brought me one and had already embroidered on it to personalize it for charlotte. easiest beach towel!
