Today marked the last day I will brave holiday traffic to go browse for *just one thing.* It was a rainy mess and resulted in a late lunch and naptime due to mom’s poor time management and the insufferably long line in j.crew.
This week, I’ve been trying to feel festive in the midst of dreary, humid 80 degree weather. Wearing all black, painting my nails coca-cola red, and sipping hot cocoa while watching christmas movies after dinner has helped up my game. Other suggestions? silver shoes, sparkly jewelry and pops of red and green or a velvet ribbon.
Another thing that can never go wrong in my book? Winter whites. Monochrome in pretty much any color. Just watch Audrey Hepburn in charade and you’ll see that its not what, but how you’re wearing anything.

Ooh I always love Stanley Tucci and his spirit, but I have to admit that I’ve never read or watched any of his Italy-themed anythings. I’m aware that it’s a crime that I haven’t!! Going to follow your recommendation now! ❤️
