Dare I call it the honeymoon period of pregnancy? Sandwiched between first trimester vomiting and third trimester swelling lies a gem. The second trimester. Finding outfits to fit this strange section of dressing is…complicated to say the least.
If you run into me these days, I will be in one of these three versions of dressing.
1. oversized button down + tank + shorts
If I call my sister we are inevitably in some version of this exact outfit.
2. caftans, caftans, caftans

3. linen overalls or pajamas

to sum up
I just did an h&m order of some maternity tank t-shirts/tanks because the winnie the pooh look is starting to come more frequently than not.
I love colorful standard’s 100% cotton tanks, and recently found some very comfy pointelle undies from uniqlo. Uniqlo is my fave for their bras and undies. Wore these up until giving birth to Charlotte and switching to bf friendly bras.
I’m a beyond yoga loyalist when it comes to bottoms. Bought some biker shorts in my last pregnancy, and when they ran a sale a month ago, I ordered two pairs of leggings, a tennis skirt and a couple tops to try. The tops run tight for my liking but the leggings run true to your original size, stretch with a bump and feel like butter.

I found myself saying to my friend, I don’t know how parenting can be exhausting I have some form of childcare most weekdays this summer. She caught me in my tracks and said that doesn’t matter. You still spend all of that time preparing to make your life easier with your child or thinking about your child or planning for when you are together. thank you chelsie craddock
Happy Tuesday xxf
